I finally found some decent CAD prices on Bulgin switches, but I'm a little confused by the language the site uses to describe them. I want momentary switches, but the phrase they always use is "push to make". This SEEMS to me to be the same thing, but can anyone confirm?

If you're talking about the illuminated bulgin vandals-resistant (http://www.bulgin.co.uk/Products/Switches/Illuminated.html) ones, they should be momentary switches.

Where are you buying them from? I'm looking for a blue ring myself, and they're like at least 30 bucks if not more.

http://www.alliedelec.com/ seems to have decent prices. $9 for the non-illuminated ones, and $17.50 for the illuminated ones.

Just got an email back from their sales guy...

Price- $22.59 Cdn. Each

GST- Extra

PST- not included

FOB- Fort Worth, Texas

Transport and duty- Allied charges a flat fee of $8.00 Cdn. to cover
shipments of 15 pounds and less to your area using the Allied shipping
system. Shipments of over 15 pounds are subject to actual freight
charges. Goods are cleared through Canada Customs by Allied.

Delivery- Stock ( 2 to 3 days to you). Please be advised that stock
checks are subject to prior sale.

That's for the illuminated blue ring one... doesn't look like it's that great a price after taxes/shipping and possible customs fees. Hmm...

I didn't even look to see if they were American....they were under Bulgin's list of approved Canadian dealers. What a pain.

For a few switches, not a good deal.

Bigfoot Computers (www.bigfootcomputers.com) carry them.

And bigfoot STILL manages to have worse prices! :)
