anybody checked out this movie on DVD yet?
there's some actual decent fights choreographed by Yuen Wo-Ping here. that little white kid was really impressive with the bo staff. still think he is very underused here, tho. i did like how they gave mad props to the King of Fighters games. (there's a scene where they give a closeup of what he's playing. it's King of Fighters EX2: Neo Blood)

I've been mulling over whether I want to spend $10 on this or not...I'll probably pass in favour of some other stuff for now. But who knows

if you forget that you ever watched the opening fighting scene...where yeah the movie is decent....and yes I know it was a (SPOILER) dream sequence (END SPOILER) but that scene was just ridiculous

gets better after that.

btw ... nothing wrong with the twins :cheesygri

ah sa was great in Beyond Our Ken.

btw...the best scene in the movie is when the brick goes thru the taxi cab...can't remember which movie it was when he says the same phrase.

Ah Sa was not in "Beyond our ken". it was Ah Giu.

and that movie you speak of, it's "Enter the pheonix", Stephen Fung's directorial debut. "wtf?!" haha!

Just watched this movie. One of the more decent movies starring Charlene and Gillian. I like the fact they at least kept one of the roles at a minimal and not take away from the story (which was lacking).

Couldn't believe Nik is the director of the movie. He looks very young. Kudos to him for being able to express himself so well thru star/director role. I'm blown away.

The family message is quite subtle yet the message comes across very strong. It has the right amount of humor sprinkled at certain moments.

Anthony Wong's role/acting was quite fresh and amazing. He really stood out in his acting in the movie.

Overall, it was worth the time to watch the movie :)

ironically, Stephen Fung's last movie "Enter the phoenix" had alot of that father/son relationship thing going on throughout the movie. i actually thought "Enter the phoenix" was a much better movie.
