Which PSU is sufficient for general computer usage and mild overclocking?

Other than the differences being 300W vs 350W, I don't really understand why they are a few dollars more...

I'm a fan of Fortron PSUs...rock solid and reliable, price is nice too.
The bottom 2 you listed have the 120mm fan, priced a bit more than thier 80mm siblings, and are quieter.
What's the system or potential system specs? (assuming it's not the one in your sig. because you already have a nice PSU there)

Also, keep in mind the PSU ATX Spec if you need 24-pin connector. Although the 3rd one on your list states ATX 2.0 24-pin, I think that's incorrect (I could be wrong) because I believe that only the newer "Blue Storm" Fortron PSUs are ATX 2.0 24-pin and dual 12v rails.

Asus A7N8X-X
AMD Tbred 1700+ mildly OCed
32MB video card
HDD
CD-ROM

Not much, computer used for general purposes and some graphic design. Would the 80mm PSU suffice?

The 300W w/ 120mm fan you linked does appear to have a 24-pin connector, so unless you have a 24-to-20 adapter, I'd go with this one (http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=14062&vpn=FSP300-60PN-1&manufacture=FSP%20GROUP%20USA). 300W will be enough and you'll be happier with a 120mm fan in there.

if im gonna spend $37 to get the Fortron 300W 120mm, would it be better if i got the Coolermaster 430W instead for $43?

the A7N8X-X is only 20-pin.
I'd take the $37 300w Fortron over that Coolermaster...Fortron is a quality unit, I can't speak on Coolermaster PSUs but I always thought they were only marginally better than generic PSUs.
your system isn't overly demanding so 300w should suffice. I had my XP1800+, K7S5A, 2 HDs, 2 Opticals, 2 80mm fans, Geforce2 running on a 300w without problems. I don't overclock though so I'm not certain on the extra strain that will add.

wanna save another $3 you can get this Sparkle,
http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=12390&vpn=PO300-PNS&manufacture=Sparkle%20Power%20Intl.

Sparkle models are Fortron equivalents, same manufacturer.
