DVD drive not showing..

Ummm, I turned on my computer today, and I went to my computer and saw that my dvd drive wasn't showing at all....So when I go to "Device Manager", IT has my drivers name with a :!: ...Somehow I don't know what to do,

I think they're might be a thread regarding this topic, unfortunally I couldn't find it..

try deleting them both, and rebooting, letting windows reinstall them.

if not, post back and we can try something else.

in addition, you should also try unplugging and reconnecting the ide/power cables to your optical drives. Note during the post that your bios detects them okay.

if you still have problems after that pm me, it just happend to me too so i know how to get rid of it (its quite lenghty but it works ;) )

I went to system restore (via msconfig)

went back two days..

and they're back!..

But whats yo' length process :D
