Anyone know if such a thing exists? If so, can you direct me to an online store where I might be able to acquire one?
Thank you.

If what you are looking to do is share a DUN connection, you can change the ip address of a regular router (usually 192.168.0.1 depending upon model) make your gateway PC that address and share the connection in that manner. Only problem is the pc has to be on when someone wants to access the net. Other routers I've seen with that ability are alot of $.

What would be the point when you could just plug the computer into the closest phone jack?

Expensive? no, not really (http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=8022&vpn=USR268000A&manufacture=U.S.%20Robotics).
For a metal-cased router with built-in printserver, and dialup abilities, I wouldn't call this expensive at all... only thing that really adds costs would be the wireless AP & serial modem, if you don't already have them kicking around.

4 People live in my house and often more than one of us wants to be online at the same time. When I only had to computers side-by-side, Internet connection sharing worked, however now that I have 3 machines all in separate rooms, that doesn't work anymore.

But wouldn't you just be able to have a 56K modem in each computer? And then connect each computer to a phone jack. Dialup doesn't really require a single connection like DSL or Cable.
Or have I just been away from dialup for too long? ;)

Yeah... my old USR wired router had a serial port for an modem... try to find one kicking around... shouldn't be too expensive.

That works as one person on at a time, however if 2 or 3 of us want to be online at the same time, it doesn't work. Only one modem can "take" the line at a time.

hehe.. well still. 56k is maximum 7k/sec but u never actually get that. But ok.
7 divided by 3 people = 2.3kb/sec & hassles of hang-ups...not being able to use the phone when someone else is online..
IMO: You are better off getting the ultra-low speed broadband ISP's offer and sharing that wirelessly. Less hassle & equipment, you'll still suffer with small speed problems but still. it runs at 64k vs 56k.
And if you have problems finding an ISP you can trust with those speeds, rogers/bell offers the 128k for 19.95.. the three of you would only pay $2 more each on your internet bill every month & it would be almost like each of you having your own modem (but without the aforementioned hassle)
5.3k/sec each for a combined total of 16/sec
(if u are wondering where im getting these numbers from, I just divide the internet speed by 8, to get the max possible speed in kb/sec)
e.g.
56k = maximum of 7k/sec download
1mb (1024k) high speed = 128k/sec download
etc.

I guess you need to know more about me for it to make sense.
I live outside the range of DSL and Cable broadband services.
The only real Wireless provider in my area is the ISP that I work for and we don't reach my area either.
I have a dedicated phone line for internet access. My connects speeds are only 33.6K.
Although 3 of us may be online at the same time, not everyone request information at the same time. Often I would be typing in forums like this, thus leaving all available bandwidth to the other 2 users.
One of the users is a teenage girl, thus 95% of the time, she used almost no bandwidth ( as she is simply chatting in MSN ).
That should hopefully clarify my need for such a peice of hardware :)

My wired router does have a serial port connection, so it suggest you need an External modem, as did someone above suggest the same thing.

Unsure of how it works though

CLose --- but I am looking for a "wireless" solution.I looked for this kind of device a couple of months ago, and I don't remember coming across one that was wireless. What you can do is have a wired router for the dialup connection, and then connect a wireless access point (or a wireless router) to that to get the wireless capability.

Judging from your current situation (you poor, poor soul)
Uhmm you are lookin for something like the:
smc-7004awbr
or
smc-7004wbr
Its not a *bad* router. Just the firmware does not support uPnP.. but for what you are looking for, this will do it. Now. The trick is to finding one.. lol
Your best bet is to take to the streets and see if any computer stores have anything like this in stock. The internet seems to be pretty dry on the subject of dialup.
I did some searching. this page gives an outline:
