enterprise rent-a-car 9.99/weekend day - extended

Any specific coupon code? I went to the main Enterprise site and it says country CA not valid for this promo. Seems US only unless you can point out otherwise.

Nevermind. It works in Canada but not at airport locations. boo.

Also, says rental must start Friday and return Monday.

When I picked May 23 (Monday) as return, it says Closed due to holiday. I choose Tuesday return and it says return must be Monday. hmmm... I guess they don't want my business.

For the first weekend of June, but I wasn't getting the cheapest rates. I see 16.99 at some locations, 18.99 at others. Its a little strange though because I made a booking for the last weekend of May a few weeks ago with no problem. I can try calling, but just to let you guys know, that while they may say its been extended, not sure if its going to work in practice. The "conditions" section of the 9.99 offer doesn't say anything about validity dates. Maybe the weekend I'm looking at is an exception because its memorial day in the US. Any ideas?

It's not a great idea to driving an Accent over your happy wk-end, is there any other car thats also 9.99 other than an Accent?

Just pick your car up late in the day. Good chance is they'll run out of Accents and have to upgrade you.

I've rented through Enterprise's Weekend Special and driven off the lot with a Toyota Echo and a Mitsubishi Lancer. Last time I was there, someone got a Toyota Corolla and there was a Ford Focus, as well. It will depend on what they have in-stock and how well you know the guys working behind the counter. If you rent regularly from them, you can sometimes get an extra day for the same $9.99 rate or get upgraded if there are no good cars available.

Definitely avoid the Accent. I drove one last fall and hated it. The car felt like it was falling apart when I took it on the highway. Plus, no ABS or airbags -- thing skids in a bit of rain.

rent 2 times already this month.. went down to seattle and phoenix.. get free upgrade if possible for a bigger car. especially if u have over 4 friends..
