I promised myself the last time I missed them that if they ever came around id see them. Last time I couldnt because I was in school and had no money. This time Im married and have no money.

Consider yourself lucky you didn't get the tickets. These guys are old. Would you spend $200 a ticket to see your grandfather trying to act like he's 17?

Trust me, you didn't miss a thing.

If you're seeing them in their prime, yes I would agree but (most likely) you and I weren't born yet.

I saw them in Atlantic City '90 and at the Toronto SARS concert couple of years again. Let me say it again, you didn't miss anything.

Then why did you stay around to see them 2 times?? Stones shows are unlike anything in the world. The RS "are" Rock 'n' Roll. They epitomize what a band should act, look, smell and sound like. The only thing that kills me is how expensive the tickets are. But if they were more reasonable, I would go see the Stones weekly, even if they were 100 years old. You are only as old as you feel like and act like, and I bet if that is what dictated how old a person was, they would be younger than you.

Its sad watching the Stones now.. they are so old, they barely play and rely so much on their accompanying musicians, Mick can barely hold notes and mostly just runs around. The quality has steadily gown down over the last 20 years... and the memorable tunes were all out 25 years ago. Last time I paid to see them was ~1994 IIRC.

The SARS concert was free. But I went for the crowd and the party, not to see grandpa acting like a teenager.

Yeah, I guess you are right. I suppose you were there to see young teenagers like Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson from Rush, Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman from the Guess Who, Brian Johnson and Angus Young from ACDC (maybe the schoolboy outfit threw you off). Or was it teeny-boppers like Greg Keelor and Jim Cuddy from Blue Rodeo, or Jann Arden, or Sass Jordan, or maybe Wayne Coyne from the Flaming Lips?? Could it have been the pre-teen vocal stylings of the Isley Brothers that you attended this event for?? Or was it those crazy youngsters Dan Aykroyd and Jim Belushi??

Hmmmm ..... maybe you should think things through before you start ragging on the Stones. Sure, they don't have the talent or staying power of someone like that old man Justin Timberlake (was that who you were there to see?), but they are still a pretty good "little" rock and roll band.

Oh, and the Sars show was not free.

Man, you say exactly what I want to say, but word it better. Ill let you do the rest of that talking dealing with this. I have just one thing to say. I AGREE WITH YOU.

Stones tickets sold oput in 12 minutes and I lost out. It was supposed to be a limit of 8 but they changed it to 6 per person, so no go. My only hope is radio contests now

Anyone else going to this. I decied I cant afford this and my Halifax trip. Id rather spend the money on the trip than the $750 it would cost me and my wife to go to see them
