is it poisonous?

saswando

No it is not poisonous. However, in the wild, it consumes rattlesnakes and is known to be immune to their venom. Again, this is a harmless and non-poisonous snake.

It is still a baby and learning. It has never bitten or snapped when it has been handled. With constant handling and care, this snake will make a great pet. Also, it will reach about 5 feet in length in 2, at the most, 3 years.

Nice pet. Will the existing enclosure be suitable for the snake when it reaches its full length, or will a larger one be required? If so, how much do they cost? How often does the snake shed?

thank you for the nice comments on the snake.

The current enclosure the snake has, is good enough, however if you are the kind of person who likes to spoil and pamper your pet for its own satisfaction, a bigger enclosure would be a good choice.

saswando

And the lifespan of the snake can be anywhere from 15 to 20 years.

Thank you

The snake is still a baby and learning, but it won’t bite or snap. When it’s being held it is very happy, loves moving through your fingers and sniffs the air with its little black tong.

If your worried about enclosure size, the best bet would be to put it in a large rubbermaid container with heat tape. This is the best enclosure for the snake as it keeps temperatures stable on both the hot side as well as the cool side. It also keeps the humidity higher which is difficult to do in a tank with a melamine lid. BTW, that is an amazing looking snake.

saswando

Thank you man

Yes, you could do that, but if you want a nice looking enclosure that is well suited for the snake, all the equipment and supplies that come with the snake are just perfect.

You are basically getting everything you need with this snake.

Hey, just wondering if the snake is still available. If it is I live in Toronto and I am very interested in it. Although, I do have a few questions I would like to ask first.

Thanks,
Matt
