I got fired once for refusing to work on a saturday, the very day they asked to work I had to pick up someone at the airport, I told the boss if it was okay to come at 9:00am (had to pick up the person at 7:00am), he refused and said "Hey, you come at the time you're indicated just like everybody else does". That's when I told him "Screw you then, I'm not coming".

well since you asked , these were all ENTRY low level jobs ... the reasons why I was fired from my jobs :
after 4 weeks on the job , a bunch of coworkers complained about my attitude


after 4 weeks on the job , co workers reported to management that I wasnt catching on and my work performance was not up to par


staff complained to HR that I was nosey asking too many personal questions and sticking my nose where it doesnt belong ... I was canned after being there for 5 months .


if you can't get along with the coworkers then you won't stay in the job for long.......because
A. like you said, coworkers complained, get you fired
B. you hated your coworkers, you can't stand them anymore, so you fired your boss(you quit)

You are correct. I understand why they would fire me, but not why they would not inform me at all. I even tried to go back to work and only know I am fired at the entrance.

I was fired because I missed a shift without calling in. Legit, I think.
