if you are really worried call visa and tell them they always give you time around your payment when needed. they rape you on intrest but in general are pretty nice :)

call the number on the back of the card, explain what date the money supposed to come in and provided you call before may 5, im sure they'll give you a few extra days, perhaps even with no interest

Some companies give you an extra 3-4 days of grace beyond the due date to account for those who make payments via mail/PTB/online/phone as it takes time to process those payments. They don't advertise about it, but they do give you some leg room. Just ask them.

I transfer money to my visa ona weekly basis, that way I am pretty much on par with my spending, since I am horrible with remembering due dates etc, I don't have to worry :)

You could always pay by cheque at a bank machine (put the visa stub and the cheque in the envelope). If you do that on the day the bill is due it should get dated on that day (so no late charges). It will then take a couple days for them to process the cheque and have it clear from your account. The could buy you a couple days extra to have the funds arrive from paypal. I would only bother trying this if you knew the exact date the funds should arrive and the extra day or two is all you need. Otherwise, call Visa and see if you can work an extension out.

Paypal withdrawl takes 2-3 days plus your Visa gives you an extra 3 days, so you'll be fine... or pay that credit card with another credit card :D

don't forget that with some VISA cards, if you don't pay in full, you lose your interest free period (from posting to statement date) and that all new transactions start generating interest immedately when they are posted onto your account.
