Delta Chelsea does offer some weekend rates for $89.

Overall, I found hotels in Toronto to be somewhat over price.

Search RFD for Priceline.
To see what others have paid recently in the Toronto area, check out http://p070.ezboard.com/fpricelineandexpediabiddingfrm211 (all rates there are in USD).

ok I know I'm hijacking the thread, but who do Canadian use Priceline? Cuz I try using it, but I'm not able to register because I don't have an US address.

Read the Non-Resident FAQ (http://p070.ezboard.com/fpricelineandexpediabiddinghotels.showMessage?topi cID=6.topic) at BiddingForTravel

The Downtown Courtyard Marriott regularly comes up cheap

Forget about the other thread quoted earlier, MasterCard and Amex works well with Priceline, just not Visa.

I regularly use MC on Priceline. Kind of a necessity for me as my Amex is the free Airmiles one and the MC is the free Citibank Driver's Edge Platinum. For car rentals, you need the card with LDW insurance.
