I believe it was removed as people were fraudulently creating coupons.

What a ridiculous thing to lock/disappear a thread for.
It was only a 2 for 1 coupon anyhow, and the only thing that old "dee-que" was being cheated out of was their spamming/data-mining database.
Lighten up mods. You're not going to get sued over a freakin' ice cream coupon.

i agree. it was not enough to just delete the whole thread, but to hide the fact they did that too? (or at least not tell anyone)...?

Yeah, I totally agree. The person who put that thing together did a general service to the public by exchanging one evil for a lesser one. It almost looks bad on the mods part cause by taking on their position cause it presents a picture that they are a strong proponent for 'spamming/data-mining'.
Got me some 2 for 1's tonight at DQ =) From what I hear, other people are waiting to get theirs through email whereas I got the circulating URL from an MSN buddy...share the wealth!
