I have the Motorola Router and the PCMCIA card for my laptop and have been using it since last summer with no major issues. The range on the router is not what I expected, but it works at 54 Mbs most of the times(99%).
I think they are a good value at this price, actually I will grab the PCI card for my PC tomorrow .....

Are you using Windows XP SP2? If you're still on SP1, it would definately be worthwhile to upgrade, as the newer Wireless Config works much better, and supports WPA (which I think might be the key issue here.)
If you've already got SP2, what is it doing when you go to connect? Where is it failing? Does your AP have MAC filtering enabled?

ido have Sp2 installed...and i used MAC filters i check couple times and the mac address i enter was the correct one from the pci card...anywho it worked for about 10 mins but after that i wont connect again...
the problem is i see the lil antenna thing on the wireless network selection, but it wont let me connect, it doesnt have that halo thing on the antenna icon on my network
i tend to buy things that turns out to be the defalt one. so im guessin this is the same case...

OK, i ain't that familiar with wireless networking...I have a D-Link wireless card and will this router work with it?
And can this travel completely within a house (Basement to another level)?
