during an interview, what can you say if they ask you for your weaknesses?

It is very easy to tell them my strengths but weakness is hard because I don't want to say bad things about myself

what i say is true though...i spend alot of time organizing myself and whats around me as well as my paper work because i cannot work, live or eat in a messy environmet. So, its a weakness because it MIGHT cut into my daily duties.

yea, i use that as well but not as much as the previous example i stated...i think they are both good.

its kind of a trick question.

they're testing you for two things: honesty and adaptability.

honesty = no "i'm too much of a perfectionist" or "i work too hard" or "i don't like getting paid too much". bleh. the trick is to answer with something real, but not too bad. like "i don't like to be bothered too much while i'm working" or "my time management skills could use some fine tuning".

you don't just leave it at that, of course. you have to show that you're willing to compensate/adapt for your faults. "i don't like to be bothered too much while i'm working, so i find wearing earphones and listening to music helps me to focus and people only try to get my attentionwhen something work related comes up". "my time management skills could use some fine tuning, so i try to be very diligent about keeping my scheduling application up to date".
