Hey all.

Basically the title says it all.

I'm looking for the new Molson commercial (the one with the Fatboy Slim background tune)

If you find it anywhere, or can host a copy, I'd muchly appreciate it!

Thanks!

I don't think that link has the newest one.

I think Zig.ca has the Molson account .. maybe it's on there?

It's flat out the most effective bear commercial I've ever seen. I need a Molson Canadian right about now...

Yeah, the one with the mad girlfriend.

I'm looking for it because I think the "girlfriend" was one of my teachers in high school. :cheesygri

And, spm24/Wildfire - no, unfortunately, I don't think they have them posted there - yet, at least.

Thanks though!

Still looking - if you find it, please let me know!

I can't stand that commercial. I can't stand any macro label beer commercials that go out of their way to portray guys as being the cheap beer swilling, football game watching, ball cap wearing, oversexed pervert.

I'd rather drink a beer that directs more of their revenue towards producing a quality brew than brand recognition amongst schmucks.

Just my $0.02.

To each his own, but I love that commercial.

Haha.. I wonder if the beer overflowing from the bottle was meant to be symbolic of something :) Interesting commercial. Or should I say, some attractive women!

You're confusing beer with wine, sir.

For me, the decline of originality in advertising has been apparent for some years now. They appeal to the lowest common demoninator and it seems to be working.

Who am I kidding, those chicks were hot!

I dont get this commerical. Can some care to explain it to me?

I agree with the other posters

Indeed. I don't associate myself with anyone/any situation/ or anything depicted in that commerical. Nor can I relate it to anyone I know. I enjoy my beer, much as I thoroughly enjoy a good pinot ;) (and in this case, I was totally enthralled by "Sideways")

For me, the decline of originality in advertising has been apparent for some years now. They appeal to the lowest common demoninator and it seems to be working

That is just sad. And in this case, why brush it off with a statement like "You are confusing it with wine". What about the large overlapping subset group. LCD marketing is insulting to most people's intelligence.

But yes..the women are fine! :D

What? You mean that you dont have a bunch of buddies who pack up the van and head off to Florida where you pretend to be a QB. Get laid. Then head off to the Alps for some skiing, find a hot ski bunny. Get laid. Next day, head off to your favourite strip club to drink more cheap beer, and where of all the horny guys in the club, the stripper is honestly (read: not just for money) interested in you. Get laid (and find your wallet missing, looks like she really was just after your money chump). Next day, head off to the gym to work off all that beer you've been chugging and pub food you've been scarfing, find a hot girl who asks if you're the trainer (what tipped her off? The beer gut?). Get laid. You fly back home after your ski trip, and well whaddyaknow, a hot cowgirl who, like all other girls who find you hot, looks like a stripper, makes the first move and introduces herself to you....*surprise* you get laid again.

This doesn't describe your life? Are you some kinda looooser?

This is beyond just a low brow, poorly thought up beer commercial - along with the Labatt lip gloss commercial and pretty much everything Budweiser has done (except for the croaking frogs), it is just part of the decline of Western civilization.

They are really toning down the Canadianism in their recent, and likely future commercials. You won't be seeing any more jerseying, or multi-coloured, my-name-is-Joe, etc commercials. Expect more T&A.

Looks like this commercial is nearly perfect. You guys are alcohol snobs who would never buy the product anyways, so it doesn't matter that you're offended.

What is the name of the song playing in the commercial?

That shouldn't mean that I Am Canadian should die out!

If they were smart, they would be doing I Am American down south...

Right here, Right now is the song.

Since when does any commercial actually portray the results that you will get if you buy / use the product?

You may not like the commercial, but it should got you talking and thinking about Molson Canadian.
