Damn. I need to vent a little here.

So I'm sending the 2005fp back for a replacement....and I wasn't home when they picked it up. My mom said that the guy didn't scan the package when he picked it up...and now it's missing according to UPS!

Whew. It arrived. WTH though....UPS has absolutely no record of it being picked up or delivered. :confused:

As a side note for future reference...are the pick up guys supposed to scan the package in front of you or give you some sort of receipt?

As a side note for future reference...are the pick up guys supposed to scan the package in front of you or give you some sort of receipt?

Yeah, they're supposed to, but sometimes the barcode doesn't scan. If that happens, they can punch it manually, but they frequently don't do it. Since it wasn't scanned at the delivery, it's probably a bad barcode. If the printer prints streaks, this could happen, or if you put it over a seam in the package, or put tape over the barcode, or any number of things.

If it's a return, it might have had the original label scanned instead of the RS label.
