I need to RENT a car.....BUT...(Need help here)

ok, im 23/ Male/ NO Insurance....+ Ill be useing my Mothers Credit Card and My G2 Licence+ Cash


Im in the Markham + Eglinton Area....

Any1 know of a place that will rent to me , AND FOR CHEAP!
(Ill have $100 - $150)

no chance you will be geting a car rental. Most places need you to be 25 or above with 5 yrs driving exp.

Do you go to school (college or university)? Credit card companies have promo all over campus, all the time. It's pretty hard to miss

Are you serious yuo don't know how to get one? Just go to your bank (i'm guessing u have a bank account??) and ask them you want one.

have your mom rent the car as the primary renter, and add you as an additional driver. there will be extra fees for the 2nd driver and you being under 25 (I think only National, Hertz, Thrifty and Budget allow this), but that's probably the best way to get around the problem. hmmm, but your license is only a G2....

Enterprise is the cheapest if you're under 25. I rented from them a few times when I was "underage". No idea about the "G2".

Looking for a good time, go UHAUL. Those guys rented me a 24' truck when I was 17 with a G2 and a debit card. They have some nice looking trucks they'd probably let you have for a weekend. Don't go too far in it though, their km charges are ridiculous.

You could deck out a moving truck pretty good over the course of a weekend. Throw a barbecue in there and something to sleep on, and head out to the lake somewhere (may want to put this one on hold for another month..). Girls love that stuff.

Edit: I'm originally from Northern Ontario though, so the girls I'm used to may be a little different than the GTA crowd. ;p

I rented a car from Thrifty twice when I had a G2 and under 25. Once was because I needed to get to this small town for a school assignment and the other was for my G road test. They charged me about $30 extra because I was under 25 but it was fine. I did have a credit card though.

look up liberty car rentals, 1 location in markham and 1 location at a holiday inn in toronto

$35 a day, have your mom come and put her visa (or you can use yours) and sign for the car, you can be added on as an additional driver regardless of age.

One renter must be > 25

actually, hertz, budget, avis for sure wont rent to anybody under 25 primary or additional driver. Enterprise and Thrifty will rent under 25 for additional charge but not sure bout the G2 licence part.

go to the old chinatown at Gerrard lotsa Viets can "hook" you up with a rental car . last year my buddy rented a 2002 Camaro for 25 bucks a day .

The Rent-a-wreck location I used to rent a car to take my G2 exit test in :D :lol: would rent to anybody over 21 with a $1500 cash deposit (you'll get it back when you return the car, of course). If you're a student, they might cut you a break with slightly less.
