Ooooh nice :) Will have to check it out when I get home. Lets see how "secure" it is. Hopefully it will not follow the trend of most new MS products!

Using it now, some new features such as What are you listening to and a personal msg screen.

It's pretty much official since it's on Microsoft's servers, usually leaked out betas are hosted on some site.

It doesn't seem to be publicly available yet? Doing a search points to MSN Messenger 6.2 still??

What is not to like? Here are a few nice things I noticed:
- allows you to remove tabs
- allows you to sign in as NA, rather than online every time
- nice little custom pics beside each name
- brings up brief message history for contacts when they message you

How do you remove the tabs? MSN 7 does seem a bit more bloated, but once I remove the ads, it's bearable. I do like the more colourful interface though.

I don't like the commercialization...links to Blue Mountain, etc. Is there a way to remove those? And what's the way to remove tabs?

to remove tabs, go into options, security, and check the box that says this is a public computer so please don't display my tabs.

does anyone know how to remove the search bar at the bottom or the ad at the bottom?

Why they let us change the colour of the message box but not the contact list?
I hate the blue!

What's up with the Religious sentiments that are showing up after I installed the apatch? Man, that freaked me out, so I reinstalled MSN 7 and hopefully that overwrote the program patch? Or is there another way to uninstall it? I just found that patch to be extremely weird, to pop up with some sort of Religious toned links to click on.

it did, something about islam, just ignore it and move on. no pop up after you install the product. works just fine. no ads, search bar, msn logo. it rocks

Yup, they just recently decided to block potentially "unsafe" files with MSN 7 such as EXE's. This was seen starting at beta 0732 I believe. It's annoying...

Has anyone had luck with A-Patch to remove the file restrictions? I'll stick with my older beta for now...

Here you go everyone:

http://www.mess.be has a link (scroll down a bit) for a file extension unblocker. AFAIK it works fantastically.

I think the one that came with a-patch was for the beta versions, and sneaky M$ probably fixed it.
