Question on staples coupons

I'm just wondering if you can go to a local staples, give them a coupon code # and get the credit without showing a copy of the coupon code? I'm guessing you can't but just wondering just in case my gut feeling is wrong.

The RFD way of doing is to try it, when they deny you, come back here and start a thread about how much you hate "Stooples" and their managers.
