Anyone getting spam lately from Costco.ca?

Anyone else getting spam/newsletters lately from Costco.ca? I know for a fact I never subscribed to this, and it seems the email addresses were the ones I used to sign up for a bestbuy.ca account a while back. Could they be somehow working together? :?:

yes i'm fairly positive. I wouldn't have used these email addresses for any contests.

I think you just signed up with that email, but forgot. I don't think Costco would spam. And if they were to spam, why would Best Buy sell their client list to a competitor?

A little too quick pointing the finger as it seems you're the only one who got the email who didn't remember signing up.

Well, I think I would know whether or not I had entered contests with these emails.

The weird thing is, I just checked my other email addresses used for Bestbuy.ca accounts ... no spam there. So guess it's not coming from bestbuy.ca. The only other place I could think of is paypal, as these same emails were used for paypal accounts at one point or another. And no, not contests. Oh well, guess I'll never know. >:(

I used my email for the costco contest a while back and yes they are sending me costco.ca emails now.

I only signed up once for the contest and I'm only getting costco email on that one account (I have two others I use). So it is definitely because of the contest email entry for me.

I signed up for the contest (before they went online). Got one e-mail from them, and promptly unsubscribed. No problem so afr. :)

according to the spam, there is only one way to unsubscribe, via email. Why?

yes, i think i'm gettin an email from costco.ca every 1 or 2 wks.... but that's it... ...
