Hi, I found out that my mbna card was used in Austrialia while I was in Toronto! I don't know how to prevent this!

Umm...first would be to call your CC company and tell them about it...

How did you find that out (you said "is currently being used")? I assume your credit company told you that. That means it is already prevented.

lol, i already reported it.... but this scares me.... it seems nothing is safe now ......

it wasn't prevented, I just got the bill today!

dont worry...99.99% chance you'll get the money back.
This happened to me twice...2 UK transactions billed in US$ appeared on my CC statement.
There was a phone number for the company which I callled and it was bogus.
Notified CC company and within 3 weeks all my charges were reveresed.
You may want to change your credit card number.

i think you are only liable for $50 max
obviously its fraud if you are in t.o and it was in aussie
