Can your credit card number and other credit card info removed from company's list ?

I subscribed a magazine from a website with my credit card. I decided to cancelled it few months ago. They still keep sending me the magazines without concerning my decision. I didnt pay them the last month fee and charged my credit card...damn ! I told them that I already cancelled my subscription. They admitted they charged my VISA by mistake...WT_F !!! They will send me a cheque for the credit in 2 months. This really pissed me offf......

Is there a way I can remove my credit card info from thier database ?

call the bank and tell them the charge was unauthorized.

you can also tell you CC company to stop anymore pre-auth charges from the magazine subscription.

you can also tell you CC company to stop anymore pre-auth charges from the magazine subscription.

Visa comp said they need a letter from the company saying that my subsciption has been cancelled.
