Ipod 20gb or Ipod 6B mini???

Other than the obvious differences in storage capacity and minor cost difference...which would you choose? I don't think I will need the extra storage space, but does the 20gb have features that users really like versus the features on the new mini's? Thanks for your input/thoughts??

Depend on how much mp3's you have? If you have a lot (> 12gb), then go for the Ipod. Otherwise, the Ipod Mini is fine and it has a better battery life.

Agreed. 20 gigs is really more space than you know what to do with for a casual music listener.

6 gigs is really alot...

And it really depends what you're using it for. If you want to use it for exercising or more active stuff, you might wanna consider a flash MP3player. they're smaller and won't break as easily.

if u don't need 20GB then get the mini. i don't think there is any diff in features between them at all. only diff besides storage and size is the mini has 18hr battery where as the 20GB has only 12hr.

but you may regret it later if your music collection grows and u find the need to cary more then 6GB at one time.

The new mini has a longer battery life, plus it looks cuter and is smaller. Personally I like the white iPod because it has a slightly larger screen.

next generation of Ipod should have longer battery life as well. Because Apple will use a newer chip in it.

I prefer the firm grip of a regular iPod. The Mini looks like it's made for women (chauvinist?).

I like HDD players for the simple fact that they double as portable storage.

I love my mini!!! 4 GB of storage is good enough for me...and I can even wear this thing around my neck with out it affecting my golf swing!

I don't think I will need the extra space of the 20 versus the 6gb...so that isn't a concern. I want to make sure that the mini has the same or similar features of the stock white ipods. Im' not knocking the shuffle, and I think there is a market for it (not for me though)....but it's missing a whole lot of the features that I think makes the ipod great. I just want to make sure the mini has most of the features needed.

i'm thinking about getting a 6GB iPod mini as well. but i like the 1st gen blue mini better than the new one, which looks too fluorescent. maybe i should just get a silver one.

The new minis should have all the functions of the white iPod, with some improvements in fact, like better battery life and better bass sound quality.

I have owned 2 4G 20GB iPod, 1 1G 4G Mini (Blue) at the same time

I think I like iPod more (it's not MUCH bigger, and I have "several" skins for it, the dock too). End up selling 1 iPod and 1 Mini

But with the 2G 6G iPod Mini price, I think I'll go for the mini.
