I'm currently looking for an affordable motorcycle insurance that they can recommend for an 18 yr old biker? Any suggestions!? Or if you have any friend/family connection, please let me know asap. Thanks!

Only way I know to get cheap insurance was to take the college driving course and get an older bike. I bought an '84 Seca for my first bike and paying like 700/yr for it. If your looking at a new sportsbike, nothing'll help ya with it, be ready for some hefty rates

$700/yr sounds affordable, i'm more into cruiser bikes (2005 Honda VT750C), how are the insurance on those? What company are you using?

You might want to add your location (province anyways)
You can get real time quotes from here:

Like Rogue_77 mentioned already, take the safety course at your local college if you haven't already.
Also search the forums there are a few threads already with some good info on bike insurance.
Lastly watch out for those dam cagers!

Best price for insurance you'll get is statefarm, but you'll have to have atleast your car insured with them and a clean record.
I hear that some of the companies are no longer giving discounts for the motorcycle safety course. ie Jevco

Statefarm is good and if you already have a car insured with them they will let you pay month by month for motorcylce insurance rather than the whole year.

Buy an ol' 250 or 400 CC beater and you'll be set.

I've with Jevco, went thru the same insurance agency as my car. Cruiser bike your insurance I would imagine should be decent. Again, it'll depend on make and model of the bike. A buddy of mine is driving a newer ninja and his insurance is close to, if not over, $2G
