Hmm, fantastic deal as it's basically a Zalman ZM80C with a little fan on it; the ZM80C goes for $50, less than half the price!

Should perform well too. Good find, will purchase one or two soon!

Nice price.

Anyone know if this will work on a 9600XT AIW?

Actually, NCIX has this same model for even less at only $12.85.

at NCIX with RFD link ..

Has links there to more reviews. Don't know how effective it is compared to Zalman and other brands. I just went for the
AeroCool VM-101 Video Magic Fanless Video Card Cooler since I wanted what's supposedly the best but it was a little more ($40 + tax + shipping)

Is it worth upgrading the cooler. I have a AIW 9800 pro, would the viva do any thing?

No point unless you're going to overclock.

Yes of course it will do something! Almost all graphics cards' stock cooling is EXTREMELY loud! If you don't mind shelling out about $12 from NCIX, the difference in audible noise will be significant!

but how much is it for ncix with shipping and the one tax to ontario? i have never ordered from them.

I think this is around the regular price. CC has them for 19.99. So if these guys are sold out or if you're closer to CanadaComputer (and not a roundeye)you might want to pick it up there.

NCIX is sold out.

Id rather give my bussiness to any PC store over CC.
Maybe not tigerdirect, but any other.

Hear, hear brother! I just bought something from them today because my regular store, Filtechcomputer was closed. Anyways, emergency buy, so I bit the bullet. A clerk named Eric (if you read this forum, know that you're a thieving bastard) purposely distracted with stupid commentary about warranty and then forgets to give me the change. I got ripped off for $3.90 !

Back on topic. I might swing by this place and pick on up. I am a former user of the Zalman product and it was good. My current card has a nice stock cooler so I may use it on something else.

NCIX is sold out.

As of April 3, the product is not just sold out; it's unavailable. :(

Any other similarly priced VGA coolers around?

Should be fine, but probably will run too hot for fanless since others mentioned it didn't work w/ their Zalman (but probably works on the Aerocool VM-101)
