Edited: Rebate was in fact only March 1st to March 3rd but still a pretty good price for this unit.

the rebate i saw at benq.ca said only for purchases dated between mar.1 and mar. 3....the 6100 rebate is until mar.31 though, but the 6110 is the one that's "on sale". so do you have a different rebate? or have i misread?

see:
http://www.benq.ca/promotions/
and the rebates are listed there....the 6100 with rebate is actually cheaper at $800...but depends on if you like rebates or not.

Am I missing something here? <a href=../autolink/redirectpage.php?linkid=37 target=_blank>NCIX's</a> $899.99 is AFTER $200 rebate from BenQ. Where do you get the other $200 off to make it $699.99?
Also, to prevent buyer remorse, please check out one of these units in person. I found that the color wheel spin too slow and I detected the dreaded rainbow effect on the 6100, common with older DLP technology.

May not be worth posting as I just ordered 1 of the 5 available but <a href=../autolink/redirectpage.php?linkid=37 target=_blank>NCIX's</a> surprise special this week is BenQ PB6110 for $899 (!) regular price $1240, $1399 at Staples) plus BenQ has a $200 MIR this month.
I'm going to be returning my PB6100 purchased at Staples last week for $1099 minus coupons for sure now. :)
your link above is for PB6000 $899 after rebate
BENQ PB6110 MULTIMEDIA DLP PROJECTOR

It seems that the price is $1099 before $200 Rebate bringing the price down to $899.
Staples has this projector on clearance for $1199. Rebate would still be applicable + Possible PM?
BenQ website says the projector is only $999 at authorized resellers. Check it out at the link below.

My mistake everyone, the rebate for the 6110 was in fact only March 1-3 (wtf)
The 6100 is $899 after $200 MIR for the entire month of March
The 6110 is $899 no rebate at this link: http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=11530&vpn=PB6100&manufacture=BENQ
3 units remaining.

if you look in projectors section further down the deals page, you'll see the 6100 listed as $800 after rebate...so save $100 off <a href=../autolink/redirectpage.php?linkid=28 target=_blank>ncix</a> price and get $200 off with rebate. Nothing spectacular, but not horrible either.
FYI, I bought the refurb 6100 a few weeks ago. I've found it to be very good; and many other quality DLP projectors also have 2x wheels...but if rainbow effect annoys you then DLP is probably not for you. All I can say is look at one in person. Most people don't notice it, otherwise DLP would be unnacceptable.

$999 before rebate, not bad... I got the same deal by PM Staples.ca to Bestbuy.ca (1099 - $50 for PM) and applied two $30 off coupons - actually $989 but shipping was free which it won't be from <a href=../autolink/redirectpage.php?linkid=28 target=_blank>NCIX</a> but with <a href=../autolink/redirectpage.php?linkid=28 target=_blank>NCIX</a> there is no PST
