This looks like a cool toy. And plus 2mega pixels is good enough for everyday pics. And the price... this is really really tempting.

I would HIGHLY not recommend it because it has a CMOS sensor. These days, the real cams have a CCD sensor (DSLRs have CMOS, but that's a whole different story), which is wayyyy better than what this one has. But then again it's ok "just for fun".

I like to stick to single function devices until they can make multifunction ones that do just as good a job.

I prefer a device that does one thing really well, and have several of them, than one device that does everything, but only an average job at each.
