Sorry if this is a noob question but I'm planning on shipping some used computer parts to a friend and I'm interested in what would be the best way to package them up. The items are a mb, cpu, heatsink, and memory. I'm wondering if it is safe to just leave it all on the mb still and ship it in the motherboard box with proper packaging around it or would it be better to remove it all (or maybe just the heatsink?) and package them all seperately? Any advise would be great as I'd hate for the parts to be D.O.A
Thanks in advance

I would pull the RAM and the heatsink/fan. If you don't have original packaging for the CPU it is probably OK to leave it on the MB. Put the motherboard and RAM into antistatic bags. After that, lots of bubblewrap.
