Is this "Verify Integrity of Data" an option within Nero ? i.e. the only way to verify something I burnt, is to burn with Nero? If so, where do I find the "verify" option?

The reason I ask is that I often burn using CloneDVD and wanted to know if I could some how check the burn to ensure it copies over properly, without having to sit and watch everything I copy from start to finish?

Thank in advance for your assistance.

nero cd speed

or

dvdinfopro

both have a surface test (basically if the burn is readable)

both can do pif/pie test (basically burn quality)

in nero, select the "verify" option under the burning process after you start burnning.

if it's just some files and not whole cd image, then use cdcheck and compare option. If it's a full image you just burnt, then use cdmage and compare image file to your whole cd.

I dont think this will work on clonecd image though, just on bins

I downloaded this software and it appears to have many options for the advanced user. I did try using the 4th icon "DVD" that compares the files on my hard-drive to that of the DVD. I picked the "Directoy" option. That the normal procedure?

What is a pif/pie test?

I've run the pif/pie test -- what should I be looking for, or not hoping to see in the results?
