there is a lot of software around. in the end it comes to trying them out and seeing whats the easiest one for u.

neros own nerovision express is one of them. others would be the tmpgenc package with the tmpgend (encoder) and tmpgenc dvdauthor software.

ur best bet is google and try reading up yourself here www.videohelp.com all kinds of guides for whatever u wanna do.

Neros good, you can convert if you want or not.
If you're using XBMP/C, don't need to convert.

I am currently working with Adobe Encore to archive some of my video projects. It is extremely user friendly, esp if you have used other Adobe software such as Premiere.

It supports both avi and mpeg2 video formats as well as a slew of others. It does not however support mpeg1.

With the program you can import custom menus you make in Photoshop, and then designate buttons that will play, in your case, music videos. There are around 100 different pre-fab menus you can choose from if you would rather go with one of those, but the program is also capable of creating action menus. It has a great project preview feature whereas you view your project as if it were on a dvd player and use a dvd like control to navigate.

If you are not familiar with Adobe software, or software that uses a timeline format you may find online tutorials helpful in getting you started. There are some great ones for Encore @ www.vtc.com

Good luck with your project!
Let us know how it turns out:)
