S939 is pretty new stuff and I don't think buying used if they are available can save much (I may be wrong), anyway
I bought A64 3000+ winchester core $185 www.infonec.com
There are two Gigabyte board which are good price
One is $111..GA-K8NS-939..nf3 chipset AGP graphics SATA raid Giga Lan etc www.canadacomputers.com
one is $135..GA-K8NF-9.. nf4 chipset pci-e graphics, SATA Raid Giga Lan IEE1394 (I bought this one since I am looking for a new video card anyway) and is very good and stable it is on for almost 5 days now www.logiccomputerhouse.com
Both are good boards and can overclock too if you wanted but stable as a rock

my friend doesn't overclock, and he still has a 9700 Pro, so agp board i guess. btw, thread edited, thanks for the suggestion.
