How many of you received Future Shop rebates

I bought couples of stuff at futureshop on Dec 26 2004 But i haven't heard from anyone of them actually i lost all their contacts. The only one i able to contact is western digital 250gig hard drive

Benq cdrw 52x52x52 don't have any info to contact them
Kingston 512 USB 2.0 DataTraveler
Azen ram
NEC LCD1735NXM 17" LCD Monitor

Rebates take a while
you probably will get it in March or May

check ur rebate receipt/form (hope u made a photocopy), there's usually a website or a phone number u can call to ask the status

I'm 1 for 1 with FS. Bought an LG CD burner a little over a year ago. Received rebate without problem, though it came a little late (3 months)

I've received a few rebates from FS, but the only one I didn't was for an Altec Lansing speaker setup. However, I purchased it at FS, but I believe the rebate was to Altec directly.

This was about 3 years ago at least.

If you bought anything from Boxing Day, it will take longer as most of the rebates throughout the year are from BD, and you have such a large amount of people sending them in.

Sega, HP, WD, Creative, Kingston/Azen, AMD (possibly TD, yes TigerDirect) have been successful.

The only rebate I've never received was from Sony, which makes sense, as it's Sony.

Received my Kingston USB rebate last week for FutureShop. Not insanely slow, typical rebate speed.

If you bought on the website you can still open the pdf receipt. It has a "Global ID" number. Call fs 1-800, press the number for rebates, give them that number, and whine about how its longer then its supposed to be. They will know from that number who to call to check status, and do it while you are on hold. Both FS and BB rebate FAQ say rebates should come within 8 weeks of receipt by the rebate house.

I haven't had problems with rebates addressed to staples, FS, compusmart and processed in Canada, but thats a few now going to US that have been denied improperly. From now on I'm going to be as stringent on these master rebaters as they are on people submitting them. They put deadlines for valid submissions, they will be held to the timeframe on the rebate form, or the complaint barage goes out the next day: manufacturer, rebate house, retailer, BBB, federal trade commission, state attorney general, adstandards if store promoted the rebate. Done with one, and I had the rebate amount credited on my credit card the next day. The FTC in the US just ordered compusa to make good on some manufacture reabtes that never paid out and to stop advertising times unless they are sure they'll be met.

I think they don't even bother to read their emails when you click on the "contact us" link

You've got to pick up the phone! Its like Staples pms, some of us make a little effort and get them everytime...others accept overpaying and fund the deals the stores give the rest of us :)

I recieved my Dlink router rebate from FS and I bought it a few days after Boxing Day. I've never had a problem with FS rebates. Just be patient, they should come in.
