of course, barring any unforeseen circumstances, they should be live, open, and ready for business!!!

I am really looking forward to it... save me a trip, and hopefully they will carry more than the warehouses do...

I sure hope that they require you to have a membership, that way things wont go OOS quickly and minimizes hoarding to an extent.

Just currious, where did you see that they are open for business tomorrow??? I just figured that if they were going to be opening for business on the 23rd, there would be some indication on their web site....

And yes, you will need a membership to buy items online

Any idea of what forms of payment they will accept on their website? I know in-store they only except their own credit cards and American express I think and of course cash/debit.

But if I wanted to use my Visa for instance would they allow it?

That's a HOT deal! I wonder what kind of return policy they have on these?

Anyway, I'll believe it when I see it! I hope the website carries more electronics.

It seems to me that the people who would buy a Costco membership are the types who WOULD want to hoard. You might have a concentration of hoarding types :)

Looks like the site is down right now, so that may be an indication that they're updating the website... probably getting ready to make it "live" right now...

Even if the site doesn't go up today, it'll be online very soon. In the latest issue of The Costco Connection (their little bi-monthly magazine), it says the website will be online "this month". The issue is for March/April, but it's already available to members.

Prices are ok. At least now there's another canadian online retailer. Price comparision at the seat of your home (or office).

They do carry some interesting things like the Ferrari clock (http://www.costco.ca/en-CA/Browse/Product.aspx?prodid=10284304&whse=&topnav=&cat=3130) which you have "Choice of either Ferrari racing engine or normal beep as your alarm". That's gotta sound good in the mornings.

So if Costco has online prices that can be verified by FS or BB, will they pricematch??!!??

80% of their items are exclusive to the Website and cannot be found at any of their warehouses. Costco.ca has about 1,200 items right now and will grow.

You will notice that they carry mostly high end stuff. Obviously, they are still targeting high income shoppers. No cheap crap there!
