I am just wonder how much will utility (Water, electricity & gas only) cost per month... Can you let me know how many people in your house and how much is the bill monthly? (if you can even break down the cost for Water, electricity & gas will be even better) Many Thanks!!

It's going to vary, property to property and from city to city depending on the water rates. If you're looking at a property the owner should be able to show you the gas bills to give you a rough idea. We are a family of 5 (2 teenagers) and our hydro runs about $150 in the winter for 2 months, more in the summer as we have pond pumps and a pool. The same for our water.

??? Our hydro bill is water+electricity. About $150 every 2 months as well. 3 adults, 1 little one.

Gas (gas water heater, gas furnace) I believe is around $50 for the summer and $200+ in the winter per month. This is with a very old inefficient furnace. We had our furnace replaced before winter so we'll have to wait and see what usage is like at the end of winter. Hoping to cut the costs in half for winter usage.

For sure.. I'd say about 60-100 per person (I live with 6 other people). Wait are you talking per person or the whole house?

I guess it would be about 60x...5 or 6.. actually that's about $360. So that's reasonable depending on where you live.

We have 4 showers/baths per day and the total for us (gas, water, electricity, hot water tank rental) is about $3,000 per year. I would expect it to go up slightly because we only got sod late in the summer, so this year we can expect to water more.

Our house is quite new, so it is as insulated as any normal house would be. We use CF lights everywhere we expect them to be on for more than a few minutes, we have a programmable thermostat that really helps out in the winter, not as much in the summer.

We have low flush toilets, water saving showerheads, front end washer, but no gas appliances (although I love to BBQ and I don't wait until summer).
