Common online car buying scams (a little funny)

Found this hilarious. I'm in the process of selling one of my vehicles and decided to post it up on a free classifieds (beaches classifieds I believe). A site that does not seem to protect its content too well. Within 2 hours I'd received many promises of immeasurable wealth from a number of hotmail members. I'm posting a few of the classic ones that I chuckled over:

"Thanks for the mail i was glad to here the price of the (Car) in your previous mail with the description you sent i am impressed with it so you dont have to bother your self with the picture again so my client has finally accepted your price,he hopes the (Car).IS in good condition and the engine is service and oiled He cant wait to see the (Car)
However,My client made out a certified cashiers check of($17,000) before he travelled to holland on a business trip,for a previous(pontiac car) and its shipment charges etc,but it was unfortunately sold.
The amount on the check he deposited for the (pontiac car) is bigger than what should be paid to you now, so the check is now meant for the total expenses which includes the purchase of your (Car)with,the pick up of the(Car) from its present location and the shipping charges/other necessary shipping arrangements.
However he has instructed us to carry on with this transaction. So you're required to deduct the cost of your()which is($11,000) and send the balance
of ($6,000) to the shipper via western union money transfer to enable him offsett shipping charges/arrangements,and taxes.once the transaction is concluded,the shipper will be coming for the pick up of the(Car) from its present location, on a open vehicle and then drive to a pre paid shipper for shipment,and also conclude other necessary shipping arrangements.so you dont have to bother yourself about the pick up and shipping arrangements,while title papers and other necessary documets will be sent by
you via fedex courier to my customer.

Please Confirm this and provide me your name,address and phone
number for check payment to be delivered to you via
fedex courier .

Just amazes me that for an autogenerated response guys couldn't even get the grammer right.

The first one sound like the scam I read about some girl in the US looking for a room mate.. She gets a call/email from someone in the Toronto area and she was looking to move to the US for some work(this Toronto person is a model), said she would take the apartment without seeing it.
The required payment was first and last month(as norm) and that was a total of $2000. So this model sends down to the US a cheque for $5000, tells the one looking for the roommate to cash the cheque and send back the $3000. Said it was a payment for some work she had done and it was in US dollars and it was such a pain to cash it in Canada, so it would have been easier to do it in the US.

Well it went something like that.

You should play around with those fools, have them send you the check and say that the bank cant clear it because you need to pay $25 for some Conformance Fee or whatever, and when they agree to send you the 25 bucks you keep it and flip them off :D
