Waste of money if they exist.

The G1 test is a joke. If you can't pass it by yourself then you really shouldn't be behind the wheel of a car.

you prolly dont need these answers and u can pass..

alot of it its common sense...

back in the days when i took my G1...i bought this booklet with like 50 MC questions /w answers for G1 test..

i say about 30 of the questions in the booklet were actually on the test..which wasnt bad..

how much are ur friends charging for the answer sheet?

why dont u just photocopy from someone else that bought one and pay them a few bucks.

That's so true. Its basically common sense...

lol just go to any chinese book stores, those are the ones with the exact quetsion and answers. the books are written both in chinese and english, but just ignore the chinese.

Actually the hardest thing I found about the test was trying not to laugh at some of the questions. They were just that dumb.

Like one was what do you do when you see a fire truck behind you with it's lights on. the answers were stop where you are, stop as far to the right as possible, keep going at normal speed, and go as fast as you can to get out of the way.

And you will probably getting a picture of a stop sign and have to say what you do at it. Not exactly tough. ;)

But do make sure to read the drivers handbook a couple times. there are some questions you might not know natuarally.

thanks for the help guys, seeing as though most of the test from your responses is common sense, id rather borrow the book from 1 of my friends instead wasting $10 for a 1 time thing.

I think there is a market for the product. The people stupid enough to buy the answers, are probably the same people stupid enough to fail the test.

You know in China town they sell those answer books for 4 bucks.
they have all the actual questions from the test in the book with the answers.
The reason why not all of them are on the test is because the randomly pick a bunch from a list of questions

It's scary that there are people dumb enough to need to cheat on the G1 test.

Oh man, if you need help on the G1 test, then you're in trouble. :|

Just go through the driver's handbook a couple of times and you should be fine. I think it's available online for free now.

you can pass the test without even looking at the handbook...common sense...you will probably get some wrong but not enough to fail...question about losing demerit points for a certain infraction...stuff like that i didn't know...but majority is common sense...unless you haven't paid attention to the road all your life by sitting in the backseat sleeping...=)

I got the Chinese version of the G2 road test book and it had the G1 answers in it already, but as others said it's easy...a lot of it is common sense, and even if you have q's that aren't you're allowed one or two wrong anyway (BTW I got perfect :P).

I didn't read nothing or such... It took me 3 times to pass that... :o but for my g2 and G test it only took once.... Yeah, I don't have much common sense and I was overly confident that it's simple that i'll pass first time..

No wonder there are so many stupid people on the road...

In Canada, they should not allow tests in other languages other then english/french... road signs are in english/french.

No wonder I constantly see immigrants driving slowly in the fast lanes even when the signs say "slower traffic keep right". They have no clue.

I remember some of the questions were so dumb, you have to be stupid to get them right. With enough common sense, you wouldn't know what the answer is if it weren't for the multiple choice answers.

My favourite one... something along the lines of you are driving on a road and want to make a right turn, what do you do?

In my mind, you "just do it" because I'm already in the right lane, slowed down, checking for pedestrians... but the answer was... "signal, get in the right lane, and then turn".

Like how stupid do you have to be to get that wrong? Honestly, I would've failed if it weren't for the multiple choice. I didn't think it was necessary to state specifically you have to signal and change lanes and turn from the right most lane. that is just common sense to me.

GangStarr
Feb 17th, 2005, 01:02 AM
you'll spend more time memorizing the multiple choice then you would the book.

hahah just get those chinese white books, see everyone studying up on those before the exam.

btw its usually the longest answer

Agreed. This is totally sad, but just another testament to how many people are on the roads that genuinely don't know how to drive and don't know or follow the rules of the road

If you need "the answers" to this test there is something very very wrong with you in terms of driving--you should not be driving if this is the case.

I never buy a driving lesson book. I pass the exam in one shot all you have to do is answer 18/20 in the driving rules and 18/20 in the road sign exam.

Read the drivers hand book and you will be fine.

I think one of the questions was a black octagon, asking what colour the sign is supposed to be or something.

This ain't no MCAT.

Waaahhh???

The Ontario G1 Learners Permit exam is one of the most notoriously difficult driving exams to pass, so why let the exam be the first time to practice answering test questions? Take the Ready To Drive web-based exam simulation and get the edge needed to pass the exam on the first try.

And they're charging 19.95 too! The OP's friends are a bargain compared to that website. 50% discount! :D
