I'm looking to buy a lefty electric guitar. I've had an acoustic for a long time and played it sporadically (but more recently). Anyways, I don't play often enough to justify the (outrageous) cost of buying a brand-new lefty electric, so I was hoping someone had a used one that they would let go at a cheap price. It doesn't need to be in perfect condition as long as it works and sounds pretty good. If you've got an amp i'd be interested in taking that off your hands as well. I'm located in montreal, but I'll pay shipping if you're not too far away, say Toronto or something. If you want to PM me on this board that would be ok, but the best way to reach me is by email at orakle@gmail.com. Thanks so much for looking.

tremolo stick can get in the way (is this easy to take off?) and also due to the shape it'd be weird to hold it. By all means if i can get a rh one cheap i'll take it and turn the strings over.. but i'd like to get my hands on a decent lefty. i think just about everyone i know has brought up the jimi hendrix thing.. hehe..

Just so you know, if you change a RH to a LH, you'll have to change the nut too.

I'm also wondering.. would I have to do anything with the pickups, or are they ok the way they are? I've heard from a few people that when you flip a rh over it doesn't quite sound as good. I don't really want to turn this into an OT thread... if anyone knows something about turning righties into lefties it'd be good if you could PM me.
Still lookin to buy a lefty electric if someone has one...........
