Too bad this article did not mention the 1660 jobs that have been slashed.
This is sickening.
Do I feel gouged? You bet...

Recently saw a special on MSNBC about Disney paid ex-president 140 million in severance after the guy worked at the company for about 1 year...
7 million is nothing.

For each job slashed RBC probably could save $100K per year so if RBC pays Nixon $0 they can slash 1,583 instead of 1,660 jobs.
He is responsible of $2.8B of profit that RBC make each year. He is rewarded 0.26% out of that. RBC has about $430B assest so he is getting paid 0.0018 % of the asset managed.
Mutual Fund managers charges 2 - 5+% of the asset managed, not profit produced, cause profit can go negative.

Your pay is based on what you are responsible for, not how much work you do.
This is sickening.
Do I feel gouged?
Hope you feel better.
