Anyone had a chance to check this out?
Lucky me, I got it for Christmas. Hearing the album in 5.1(really only 5 since I do not have a subwoofer) surround is amazing. Hopefully they get around to releasing the rest of Trent's material in this format very soon.
I have not had a chance to check out the CD side of the disc, but it should be similar to the regular CD. It says that it has been digitaly remastered so it might be slightly different.
If you have not heard of DualDisc before it is a hybrid of CD and DVD-Audio. One side of the disc has the music in standard CD format that will play in most CD players. The other side of the disc has the surround and stereo versions that plays on a DVD player or DVD-Audio player.

Been thinking of buying this...
Since there's data on both sides, does that mean there's no cover design on the disc itself? I remember a lot of older flipper CD/DVD's did that.

Stop thinking....start buying :)
Yes, there is no design on the disc itself. There is some text on each side on the inner ring though.

Maybe it's one of those crazy re-list errors, but didn't 2 re-release editions come out last month? I've been hesitating, not sure which is better...
This is for online shopping; no store I've checked actually carries it. :(

There is also a SACD version that was released the same day.....but for that you would need a SACD player to get the 5.1 surround.
As for stores that carry it...One store somewhere in the GTA did get a copy (ther person I got it from does not shop online, I think it was an HMV)

Hmm, that's the other edition I was thinking of.
The SACD (http://www.amazon.ca/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00066N8JS/qid=1104285813/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl/702-1060132-8884034) one is listed as having 2 discs on Amazon, while the "regular" (http://www.amazon.ca/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0006FFRW0/qid=1104285813/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl/702-1060132-8884034) re-release has 1. Is that right...?

Sounds cool, it's good album, and would remind me of where I was in 1995. But it's too pricey to warrant buying it again.
