I think it's not bad or good, from scale of 1-10, 10 being the highest i would say it's 9

As you all know, this movie is coming out Next Week on March 11th. It looks like it's going to be really good. I also heard that it's quite violent and has lots of bad language in it.

Here's some more info on the movie.

Release Date: March 11, 2005
Director: Florent Siri
Starring: Bruce Willis, Kevin Pollack, Ben Foster, Jonathan Tucker, Serena Scott Thomas, Marshall Allman, Michelle Horn, Jimmy Bennett, Rumer Willis
MPAA Rating: R (for strong graphic violence, language and some drug use)

Synopsis: Devastated by a hostage situation which resulted in the deaths of a young mother and her child, LAPD negotiator Jeff Talley (Bruce Willis) exits Los Angeles for a low-profile job as chief of police in the low-crime town of Bristo Camino in Ventura County. When three delinquent teenagers follow a family home intending to steal their car, they inadvertently pick the wrong house on the wrong day. The trio find themselves trapped in a multi-million dollar compound on the outskirts of town owned by an accountant. Panicked, the teenagers take the family hostage, placing Talley in exactly the kind of situation he never wanted to face again. Soon after, Talley readily hands authority of the hostage situation over to the Ventura County Sheriffs Department and leaves the scene. After it becomes clear that the Sheriff Department cannot handle the crisis, Talley is forced to resume the command he had abandoned where the stakes quickly evolve into a hostage situation far more volatile and terrifying than anything he could ever imagine.

Saw the commercial for Hostage. Looks good. Willis still does good action flicks. I'm still waiting for Die Hard 4 in 2006 though. That should be awesome. By the time it comes out, it would have been 11 years since Die Hard 3 came out in 1995.

Just for your info, Hostage is rated 14A in BC for frequent violence & coarse language and has a runtime of 114 minutes. I really hope there aren't many weiner kid (grade 8s, 9s & 10s) fans of Bruce Willis, because if there are, they'll keep talking during the movie and never shut up :(

Hostage is getting some pretty good reviews; even from Ebert. Although I dont give a damn what critics think, they actually agreed with users on this movie (IMDB and YAHOO). I hope it's a good movie, it's been a long time since I've seen a really good Bruce Willis movie. Lets hope he can start the streak early with Hostage and then get another one with Sin City.

It sucks. Sucks. Sucks. Sucks.

I got to see it on Monday.

Trust me. If you watch this, you'll come out disappointed.

Unless you LIKE bad movies, then you'll have a good time.

Oh, and unless you're a Goth. If you're a Goth, you'll probably like or hate this movie, depending on whether or not it offends you.

Yup, that's it.
