Member banned for non-rfd related activities!?

OK.. I will create this as a hypothetical situation.

If a member here had a certain user ID that he used elsewhere, and did something on his own site that the mods/admins here did not agree with (i.e. posting pre-boxing day specials) but did not post any links or information about it here, should it be acceptable that his ID at RFD gets banned if those advertisers/companies found out about this other site and weren't happy about it??

We won't ban the user since s/he hasn't done anything here, unless it's a potential threat to our user base like if the user had ripped people off at the other forum only then we'll take a pro-active approach.
