The demo feels pretty short, compared to the original HL demo. The 2 levels were crappy too...

Still on the fence on whether I should install my copy of HL2 or gift it to someone tomorrow.

Damn, I'm having problems. I can't get it to start. I login to steam, load up demo, I see the valve logo, then it says loading at the bottom right but it just stays like that! I waited 15mins. and it doesn't load!

not everyone is a hl fan, i dislike all fps games, because i have motion sinkness when playing most of the fps games. i do like farcry because the world don't move around as fast so no motion sickness in that game for me.

I bought HL2 the week it came out and have yet to play the game for a long period of time. Like others, I am still waiting for Valve to get off their butts and fix the stuttering problem, which they claim is fixed.

I too suffer from motion sickness of this game, it looks like that Gabe guy doesnt have a clue about how to design an engine that is more friendly to the human physiology.
