But in a thread entitled "Where did the BB and FS threads go" (or something to that effect) at that other site, there is a link to a Tripod site that has the scans available to download as .rar (expands to .jpg) files.

Right after the website, that cannot be named, deleted the flyers the same guy that originally posted them, posted the links to all the picture files that he is hosting on a tripod web site. Within minutes of him posting the links, the thread with the links was also gone.

Please do not distribute the flyers or you will risk being banned as FutureShop and Best Buy has made it clear that the flyers are not to be released at this point.

If so, then RFD is only becoming the enforcing and censorship arm of these companies. While I understand you have an advertising relationship with them, as long as I'm NOT posting the links here and such, I'd like an explanation of why I would be banned.

The information was clearly leaked and never meant to be released at this stage. For competitive reasons, it would be very damaging to them if they were released and we are not in business of opposing retailers.

Furthermore, it's not like you could purchase the items at this time. Visitors will still have ample opportunity to view the flyer and shop at these stores.

We have clearly asked that you NOT distribute the information that should have never been released. The second side of it is that you would be putting us in harm's way for potential legal action which we have no interest in being involved in.

After getting many PM's i thought i should post this. Please do not PM me asking for the links to the pictures, or to send the files to you. Derek requested that i do not share the flyer, that i saved from anther website, with anyone so i will respect his request.

Any PM i get asking for the flyers will be ignored.

1) The damage is that competitors will know what Boxing Day offers they are releasing and can them counter.

2) We can't stop you from doing what you want outside of the RFD community. Inside is another story.
