Hitchhiker's Guide the Movie: stills and a clip

Some stills (http://www.kingstreetmedia.tv/hhg/index.htm) from the set of the new HHGTTG movie. This looks promising, though i dont know how much they're gonna follow the book. Zaphod looks like he might not have 2 heads, but his overall images as a spcae junkie is ok with the long hair and beard. Comes out next year I think.

Yeah, after reading the books and really enjoying them, I was really looking forward to a big screen adaptation. I really hope it doesn't get transformed into an american bastardization by hollywood, and keeps it british roots, it would lose all its humor if it did.
I'm kinda dissapointed with the casting...
Mos Def as Ford Prefect?? Why? I can't see him doing a good job. He's not even a good actor. Plus, he's an American not British.

I do like Warwick Davis (midget from leprachaun and willow) as Marvin the Paranoid Android, although, I always pitctured Marvin to be a taller...seen herehttp://homepage.ntlworld.com/mjs2000/protomarvin.htm

Actually, a British accent shouldn't be too hard to put on. I thought he was really good in the Italian Job.

that looks awesome, although my imagination never pictured marvin like that, or the heart of gold like that either, oh well
