****EDIT For a New Question********

Okay, so I was able to use burned cd's to upload music via a CD-RW (thanks to the person that suggested that).

The only thing now...is, is there a way to play the custom soundtrack using 2 players??

For some reason, when I enable it on single player. It works fine. But with 2 players (offline) it doesn't seem to work. I'm thinking that I must not be doing it right because why would EA Games let you do it in one player and not in 2 player?

So just wondering if other ppl have been able to use the custom sound tracks in the 2-player mode?

****OLD POST********
Allright first off, I just picked up this game for XBOX via Blockbuster Trade in....and its friggin amazing...

I have a question, so if someone could help me out...it'd be great.

1) The custom soundtrack feature is so great. Love burning up the track listening to my favourite upbeat hip-hop songs. I'm able to listen to my custom soundtracks in Single Player...but why can't I do it in any multiplayer events?? Like I hear the music on the "menu" screens...but when the game starts I can't hear anything at all....Just the "effects" music..

2) I know I can't get songs copied to my HD unless I have the original CD...is there anyway to bypass this without having a modded system?......like is there any special way to burn it? I would guess not..but just wondering..

The multiplayer doesn't seem as much fun as the single player. Even just a "simple race".....the graphics seem a little more crappier with the split screen.....and I don't really seem to notice the "sense of speed" as much...but yea single player is amazing.

I'm playing it on a 51 inch widescreen HDTV, with the HDTV AV Pack....looks amazing...

When I play online my custom made soundtrack plays so I'm not sure why it wouldn't for you.

In regars to copying music over to the X-Box, I just burn a CD-RW of whatever songs I feel like copying and that's it. I have a CD-RW set aside that I just use to burn songs to copy over to ym X-Box and then I just erase it. So you don't have to have an original CD to copy over music.

In regards to Burnout 3 on Live, I'm not a big fan. Main reason, I think EA did a sloppy job with the Live interface. I still think PGR2 does the best job of Live intergration into a game, althouhg I haven't played thatm any Live games.

Sorry. By Multiplayer, i meant 2 player mode. Not on X-Box live....I have 4 free months of xbox live and I think i am never going to use it....we will see though. But yea I can't seem to get my custom soundtrack playing for the 2 player modes....like in single player, i enable it via the "EA Trax" menu option....

Can't seem to do it in the two player mode....am i not looking in the right place? hehe I'll check again tommorrow morning...really late now...

Really? Is yours a Thompson Drive? I heard those are the only ones that can read CD-RW....or is that only if it is burned?.....because I read on some site that you can only copy songs that are from original cds...I tried putting in a burned CD-R....and my samsung drive wouldn't read it. How do you burn your songs as? as a music cd? or as a data cd with mp3s on it?

I have a Samsung drive in my X-Box. I just burn my CD-RW as a regular audio CD. I have never had any issues with my X-Box not being able to read burned CD-Rs or CD-RWs.

Is your system modded? heheh....

That's strange....i tried a burned cd the other day...maybe it was the disc I used. I'll try another one tommorrow, and see what happens. Has anyone else used burned audio cd's to make custom soundtracks on their xbox??

Some Xboxes (modded or not) will have difficulty reading CD-Rs, but CD-RWs are usually fine.. Mine is like that, even before I modded it I would have to use CD-RWs to put on custom soundtracks..
