Hello Everyone,
I recently purchased a Bad Cat offa ebay, so I will no longer be needing my Mesa Boogie Nomad 55 (2x12) tube combo amp. This thing is a beast -- 55 watts -- freakin loud!
I purchased this amp from Murch Music in Cambridge approx. 2 years ago for $2099 + tax (so ~$2400).
My asking price is $1200 OBO (no trades please). Murch Music (aka Long and McQuade now) has stated that they would sell it at roughly $1600 on the floor, but I figure I would cut someone a bit of a deal.. ;)
I retubed this thing with groove tubes (just the 6L6 power tubes) in the summer. I gig and practice with this amp regularly. There is nothing wrong with it.. I just wanted to upgrade to the Bad Cat (wanted to move away from a combo as well!). This amp also comes with the slip cover and footswitch.

Sound clips can be found on my bands website (http://www.citizen-a.com) . All the guitar parts in the songs were done using the Nomad (our other guitarist has the Nomad 45 -- sounds nearly identical to the 55).
I live in London, but will deliver within reasonable driving distance. If interested, send me a PM or email me at sgdnfan2002@yahoo.com
Here are the specs from Mesa's site:
3 Fully Independent Channels w/6 Modes (Channel 1=Clean or Pushed, Channel 2=Vintage or Modern Gain, Channel 3=Modern or Vintage Gain)
Independent Gain, Bass, Mid, Treble, Presence, Reverb and Master Controls per Channel
Spring Reverb
Output Level Control (over all channels)
Solo Level Control
Normal/Extreme Power Voicing Switch
Parallel FX Loop w/Mix Control
Recording/Headphone Out
Silent Record Mute Switch
Slave Out
5 Button Footswitch (Channel 1, Channel 2, Channel 3, Reverb & Solo)
Slip Cover
Hope to hear from someone!
Thanks!
