Recommendations for PS1 games

I'm gonna buy a couple of Playstation 1 games for my nephew this Christmas... however I don't know which games I should buy... any recommendations? I just know he likes games like Metal gear solid...

Look into the Crash Bandicoot series, those are a lot of fun.

Anyway, I would recommend Tekken 3 (I bought my PS1 for this game before) and Xenogears (though it is an RPG with deep themes and such, not sure if he'll understand if he's too young).

also try ff8 and 9, they are good games too.

I'd recommand star ocean if you can get it.

I give my vote to FF7 best game ever. I remeber buying that game for around 89.99+tax , insane !

Anyways depending on how old your nephew is he may or may not like that game.

The total value of this list easily outweighs/costs more than any set of 30 games for the PS2/Xbox.

Heck half of this list is $$$$... and probably around $3k if all sealed black label... :x

LOL Too funny. Right in the beginning we find out the nephew likes games like Metal Gear Solid, and the majority of recommendations are RPGs. :lol:

Take a look for Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions and possibly the Syphon Filter series (though not as good as MGS IMO).
