I have the same speakers which I paired with a C-C1 an s10.2 and a pair of C-5's and I must say they are fantastic!

If you're shopping for speakers at BB & FS then these aren't for you. If you think Bose or Klipsch or anything chain assembled in a factory are the best thing since sliced bread these aren't for you.

I've had over 100 people listen to the setup in my condo in the last 3 years including a sound engineer & music industry people and everyone told me it was the best sounding setup they ever heard in a room that wasn't even built for accoustics.

Before I purchased mine I shopped around for months to find the best bang for my buck no pun intended...I prefered the tightness of North American speakers to the softness of their British counterparts. For me it came down to the paradigms or the energys (which were a little pricier)...and 3 years later I've had no regrets.

Anyways hopefully this review helps you sell them...I like mine so much I had to pimp them a little. Plus your asking price is really good too for quality speakers like these, my speaker setup cost me close to 5K three years ago if I remember correctly!

Good luck selling them.

hehehe i can vouch for dvdvideo as my friend also has a pair of C-1's....pretty amazing stuff at that price...

heck I can't believe I paid 6k...for a Paradigm Reference setup....and another 6k for the Infocus SP5700 and a Da-Lite screen....although it is absolutely flawless...sometimes i really wonder what i could have done with the 12000 :P

heh C-1's are absolutely worth it! especially at 280 shipped wow..

As a new C-3 owner, bump for you for a great set of speakers

I spent hours listening to everything from the C-3's upwards to the Veritas 2.3, 2.4's, Paradigm Reference Studio 20/40/60 and while I won't claim that the C series is as good, even after listening to those impressive speakers, I still came away liking the C-3's enough to buy them. Great sound for their price.
(I only buy budget stuff, too many other "vices" fighting for my wallet)
