I'm selling my Pepsi Ipod to buy Christmas presents for the kiddos.
See http://www.apple.com/ipod/ for more details.
This is still shrink-wrapped and sealed in its original box. I'm in BC outside of Vancouver but I can ship anywhere in Canada if you pay the shipping.
The price has been LOWERED to $380. Feel free to PM me if you'd like to access my Ebay feedback.
Thanks!
Karen

OK, there's no bidding and no thread crapping, so why are you guys crapping all over this guy's thread?
free non-crapped bump for you!

Look at it this way...we all know he's not going to accept, and writing bump is rather boring. I'm sure he appreciates this nonsense keeping his thread at the top.

Thanks Peroxide! You're my new hero. Too much testoterone around here. :)
So, at this point I'll keep everyone posted that the highest offer I've had is $340. I'd like to sell it for $380 -- but start at $340 and we'll take it from there. If you can hit $380 then it's yours all yours and it's a beaut! (and from a lovely home)

Is that assuming everyone who uses an iPod is a student?
Not everyone is a student and not everyone is eligible for those student rates from Apple.

Sorry I should have mentioned that apple only requires that you were a student at some point in time, and that you have a student number from the institution. My cousin used his 15 year old U of T number to buy an iPod a few months ago.

Actually it's not that you are "required to be a student at sometime" (I'm sure everyone has been at sometime) , but rather you must be student... like any business I'm sure there are some orders that slip through from people who are not really eligible for the offer but try to take advantage anyways.
My friend tried to order on the and he got shut down and rvd an email from Apple asking him to fax in his Student ID.
from apple.ca:
"Eligibility
Eligible purchasers include students who attend a provincially accredited college or university and faculty, educators, and staff who are employed by a provincially accredited college or university. Apple reserves complete discretion in making all eligibility determinations. This program is not for institutional purchases or resale."
cheers!

Sorry I should have mentioned that apple only requires that you were a student at some point in time, and that you have a student number from the institution. My cousin used his 15 year old U of T number to buy an iPod a few months ago.
The "Shopping Agreement" states "Eligible purchasers include students who attend a provincially accredited college or university..."
Attend is present tense, so seems like it should only be for current students. Whether that is being enforced or not, I do not know, but certainly your statement that Apple "only requires that you were a student at some point in time" seems to be misleading.
Anyways, what Karen is selling comes with full warranty just as you would going to a store and buying one, so I think saving $67 by buying from her versus the Apple store $389x1.15=$447 is no small change.
I know you say you don't mean to thread crap, to me it seems like it was. Please don't take this as a personal attack, I just feel any RFDer should be able to sell whatever and however they want. They may not sell the goods, but that is only their problem and not anyone else's.
Free bump. :)

lol I'll never take anything that happens online as a personal attack, but point taken. I was just trying to shed some light on why this still isn't sold, and possibly reduce the asking price for my own selfish reasons

Mine is also for sale!! Received yesterday, still in outer wrapping. I cannot use it as I have Windows 98.
I would like $350.00, and will only take a money order, as I do not have paypal, and don't think I can do internet banking!!
PM me if interested, thanks.

1. you should start your own thread, should be sold pretty quickly
2. where are you? any reference/feedback?
Because M.O. is hard to retract.
Besides, you can't take CASH if someone wants to meet?

well, 1) you're hijacking the thread and 2) no one will know you're selling unless they've read this post through.
learn some etiquette.

This isn't highjacking the thread, the initial ipod has been sold, think of it as... recycling :cheesygri
