I think if we went that route, we'd probably just change it to a contests and freebies forum. A lot of contests do get posted in there anyway, it's not much of a leap and could increase the number of useful posts in there.

Make contests and freebies seperate. It's all chaos, everyone knows that the odds of winning in contest is ridiculous so just keep it seperate I hate looking at it while browsing the freebies forum.

I agree with a separate "Contests" forum... makes everything nice and clean, and people won't get annoyed / irritated at having to peruse through all those contest threads (which, ever since the iPOD thread, are increasing in numbers).

Having a Contests & Freebies section would be like merging the sell with the hot deals forums... freebies are there for everyone (same as the hot deals), contests only benefit a select few.

The volume of contests has increased significantly over the past two weeks, perhaps there is a high enough demand for this?

:arrowu:exactly, As of right now, I think there are only 2-3 freebies are actually active at the moment. So many contests: Dream Kitchen, LG 42" Plasma, Pepsi Ipod, HP Camera. Too many, I'm tired of looking at those.

So can I post contests that I'm holding at my site yet!?!?!?

I PM'ed Derek and have yet to get a response. I'm just trying to share with the RFD community but it seems since it is my site it means its illegal here :confused: . Atleast with my site's contests you have a damn good chance of winning....only had 30 entries last month for a nice Ultra MP3 player/USB drive.
Giving away an ATI Silencer 3 this month...contest closes on the 15th, so I hope to get an answer soon.
